Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website welcomehomeinteriors.net and all design services provided by Welcome Home Interiors & Design ("Welcome Home Interiors," "we," "us," or "our"), owned and operated by Michele Kiefert in Buford, Georgia.
By accessing our website, booking a consultation, or engaging our services in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Welcome Home Interiors & Design provides residential interior design services in the Northeast Atlanta area, including:
Design Consultations — in-home or virtual sessions providing professional guidance on layout, color, and furnishings
E-Design Plans — remote design packages including 3D renderings, shopping lists, and implementation guides
Full-Service Design — comprehensive white-glove design and project management from concept through installation
Specific terms, deliverables, timelines, and pricing for each engagement are outlined in a written proposal or service agreement provided prior to commencement of work. Those project-specific terms, once signed, form part of the agreement between us.
Our Services

Consultations & Proposals
Initial consultations marked as "free" are provided at no charge and carry no obligation to purchase additional services. During a consultation, we will review your space, discuss your goals, and outline potential design approaches.
A signed proposal or service agreement is required before any paid design work commences. Verbal agreements do not constitute a binding contract for design services.
Proposals are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Acceptance of a proposal constitutes agreement to the scope of work, timeline, and pricing set forth therein.

Payments & Fees
Payment terms are specified in each project proposal. Generally:
A deposit (typically 50%) is required to reserve project dates and commence design work
Remaining balances are due upon milestones or completion as outlined in the proposal
Product purchases and procurement fees are invoiced separately from design fees
All prices are in US Dollars
Late payments may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month on outstanding balances. We reserve the right to pause work on a project if payments are more than 14 days overdue.
Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable once design work has commenced. If a project is cancelled before commencement, deposits may be retained to cover administrative time. Specific cancellation terms are detailed in each project agreement.

Intellectual Property
All design concepts, renderings, mood boards, drawings, specifications, and documentation created by Welcome Home Interiors & Design remain our intellectual property until final payment is received in full.
Upon receipt of full payment, clients receive a non-exclusive license to use the design materials for their personal residential project. Design materials may not be resold, reproduced for other properties, or shared with other design professionals without written consent.
All content on our website — including text, images, photography of completed projects, logos, and branding — is the property of Welcome Home Interiors & Design and may not be reproduced without express written permission.

Client Responsibilities
To ensure the success of your project, clients agree to:
Provide accurate information about space dimensions, existing furniture, and project requirements
Ensure timely access to the property for on-site consultations and installations
Review and approve design concepts and product selections within agreed timeframes
Notify us promptly of changes to project scope, budget, or timeline
Settle invoices according to the agreed payment schedule
Delays caused by client inaction or inaccessibility may affect project timelines and are not the responsibility of Welcome Home Interiors & Design.

Disclaimers
Our website and services are provided "as is" and "as available." While we take great pride in delivering exceptional design work, we make no warranties regarding:
Uninterrupted or error-free website operation
Exact color matching between digital renderings and physical products (colors may vary across screens and in different lighting conditions)
Third-party vendor availability, product stock, or delivery timelines
The suitability of any product recommendations for your specific structural or environmental conditions
We recommend consulting appropriate licensed contractors, structural engineers, or other specialists before undertaking any construction, renovation, or structural changes suggested in a design plan.

Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Welcome Home Interiors & Design and Michele Kiefert shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of our services or website.
Our total liability for any claim arising from a specific project engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that engagement.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Georgia law.

Termination
Either party may terminate an active project engagement by providing written notice. In the event of termination:
Completed work up to the date of termination will be invoiced at our hourly rate or the pro-rated project rate, whichever is greater
All outstanding balances become immediately due
Design materials developed prior to termination remain the property of Welcome Home Interiors until all balances are settled
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our services for any user who violates these Terms.

Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia.
We believe most issues can be resolved through direct, honest conversation. Before pursuing formal legal action, we ask that you contact us directly to allow us the opportunity to address your concern.
If you have a complaint about our services, please reach out first — Michele personally handles all client concerns and is committed to finding a resolution.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
